“Developing happy neighbourhoods”, now that’s a nice entry on a birthday. In short, as a property developer, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing housing projects & area developments. In doing so, you focus particularly on sustainable and circular projects. You know where and how people can live and work happily, in harmony with nature and the people around them. You make that neighbourhood where everything is right! Meanwhile, attention is also paid to your own happiness: you get plenty of room for your ideas and personal development. Curious about the details? Then read on and come and meet us soon!
What will you be doing?
- Actively work on medium to complex new construction projects & area developments.
- Responsible for planning and coordinating all project phases, from initiative to completion.
- Directing planning procedures – including amending the environmental plan and obtaining an environmental permit – and creating support from politicians and the environment.
- Drawing up and monitoring contracts, project plans, budgets and timetables.
- Intensive cooperation & communication with municipalities, housing corporations, architects, contractors, government agencies and other consultants and stakeholders.
- Ensuring high client satisfaction by delivering projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
“What I like best is the space I get to develop myself and the chance to really create something in my own residential environment.”
– Athena Waanders, development manager
This will make you happy
You like variety and challenge in your job. You like the idea of flying from one place to another and then spending some time in the office again. You have the freedom to contribute to the projects you are responsible for. In return, you have an enterprising attitude and honour agreements. You will make many contacts in the region, but colleagues also know where to find you – and vice versa! Cooperation is in your DNA. A quick chat, lunch together, a good joke now and then: a good atmosphere is very important to you. Furthermore, you have a heart for Brabant and/or Limburg, your working area.
This makes us happy
Our ideal new colleague is someone who can independently supervise projects, from the first initiative to delivery. We therefore require at least five years’ work experience and demonstrable experience in the industry. A person who is independent and can keep a good overview. A good listener who asks the right questions and communicates clearly, convincingly. Someone who is able to assess the feasibility of projects and responds quickly to challenges. It is also important that you have a college or university degree.
What will you get in return?
- Vibrant working environment with over fifty great colleagues.
- An electric lease car with charging card and the option to install a charging station at home.
- 35 days off per year for a 40-hour full-time working week.
- Flexible working hours and the option to work partly from home.
- A good pension scheme.
- Group discount on your health insurance.
- Plenty of room to develop yourself, both professionally and personally.
- Regular energetic team adventures, such as sports days, cosy team outings, CSR days, plenary meetings and inspiring project visits.
“The variety and opportunity to work on challenging projects give me energy and ensure that my work always remains exciting.”
– Martijn Stemerdink, development manager
About your new workplace
You will become part of a dynamic and diverse team, consisting of both young and more experienced colleagues. With about ten colleagues, you will work from our regional office at Science Park Eindhoven. With your new lease car, the office is easily accessible from the A50 and A2 motorways. Besides region South, this location also houses Blink’s support teams (including legal affairs, administration, ICT) and we share the office with construction company Janssen de Jong Bouw Zuid, which is also part of JAJO and often a partner in our projects. So plenty of knowledge and liveliness!
